Fish & veggies with rice, a recipe that is very forgiving with ratios. Almost any amount of each will work.
β²οΈ Time to First Bite (25 mins)
Takes about 25 minutes before you’re eating.
- ~5-10 minutes to cut up the veggies & get fish out of package, depending on how quick you are.
- ~10 minutes of cooking in the pan.
π³ Dishes Needed (3)
- 1 Pan
- 1 lid for the pan
- 1 cutting board
- (Optional) pot for cooking rice, if you don’t choose to use instant microwave rice
- (Not counted) 1 bowl to eat out of
π Ingredients (4)
- π£ some sort of white fish like Tilapia (unbreaded)
- π a carton of baby tomatoes
- π§ a red onion
- π cooked rice (Feel free to use instant rice)
π² Recipe
- Parallel:
- Around here you should start your rice cooker, your rice pot, or microwave your instant rice.
- Let it cook in parallel while you do the rest.
- Slice your baby tomatoes in 1/2, and then cut up 1/2 the onion into really small pieces.
- Heat your pan on Med-High heat with a little oil.
- Throw the veggies on for around 3 mins, let them cook down a bit with no top.
- Use your spatula/spoon to make a gap in the pan for the fish pieces, add a little more oil, and then drop them down.
- After 2 mins, put the lid on, and cook for another 5 mins.
